Harvard Wind Ensemble at McGill, 4/6/90

For a change of pace, this is a concert by the Harvard Wind Ensemble at McGill University in Montreal, on April 6, 1990.  The conductor is Thomas G. Everett, and I’m in the back row on euphonium — taking the spotlight briefly for a solo starting at 10:30.   I don’t recall all the pieces on the program, but the second one (with the euphonium solo) is “Colors & Contours” by Leslie Bassett, and it’s followed by “Variations on a Theme of Haydn” by Norman Dello Joio.
