This program continues with the fifth segment from the session of August 31, 1988. The musicians are Jimmy Mazzy (banjo/vocals), Fred Lind (cornet), Paul Meymaris (clarinet), John Kafalas (trombone/euphonium), Don Frothingham (piano), and Stu Grover (drums), as well as a bass player I’m not entirely sure of, but I think it’s probably Al Ehrenfried. [Note: While listening to this program after uploading, I heard Paul say something to “Steve” about taking a solo — which means the bass player isn’t Al after all; it’s Steve Pratt.] The selections are “What a Little Moonlight Can Do” and “Route 66.”
